League of Queens International Empowerment participated in the Niger Delta Women Day of Action 2019 held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. This program was powered by Kebetkache Women Development and Resource Centre with the theme 'Building women resilience against climate change'.
Leagues of queens presented a short drama highlighting the effects of climate change on rural woman and their naivety of the subject matter. This presentation aimed at creating the awareness of climate change to the community woman and its adverse effects.
